I’ve Adopted or am Fostering, Now What? A Training for Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship Families

Seasons Center and the Family Support Center are hosing FREE Virtual Training – I’ve Adopted or Am Fostering, Now What? This training will be held virtually Monday, November 27th from 5:30-7:30 PM. This training is applicable for both professionals working with foster/adoptive/kinship children and families as well as families themselves. 2 foster/adoptive CEUs are approved for this virtual training. Training takeaways include: adoption/foster support and guidance, understanding the impacts of trauma on developmental responses, and the 7 core issues of adoption.

Important Notice: Care Connections of Northern Iowa Will Close Operations on June 30, 2025

As part of Iowa’s statewide reorganization of behavioral health and disability services, Care Connections of Northern Iowa (CCNIA) will cease all operations effective June 30, 2025. Clients will be transitioned to new service coordination under the awarded Administrative Services Organization and Disability Access Points.

Providers are requested to submit all final invoices for services rendered prior to July 1, 2025, no later than August 10, 2025.
