First Responders Foundation Offers Behavioral Health Services

The First Responders Foundation ( serves and honors first responders, veterans, and their families. Behavioral health services are available to departments including fire, police, EMS, dispatch, corrections, and military (including veterans), medical personnel and their families. Services are also available to significant others, partners, and family members of first responders.

The FRF Behavioral Health team is located in Omaha, NE, and delivers services to Iowa residents via telehealth. The team is composed of Leah O’Brien, LIMHP, CPC, LADC, and Leslie Hartmann, LMHP. They are both therapists who have spouses connected to First Responders. Insurances they accept include: Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, Tricare, and United Healthcare (UHC). A Spouse Support Group run every last Wednesday of the month at 7pm via Zoom (please reach out for the link)–they are always happy to have new spouses joining!
