The Clay County Drug Court is a community-wide, collaborative effort to increase public safety, reduce relapse into criminal behavior, and empower participants to break the cycle of addiction. This is accomplished by providing participants with varied interventions, intensive supervision, and the support, accountability, and encouragement of panel members. Clay County Drug Court meetings are held at the Clay County Sheriff's Office in Spencer.

Eligibility Criteria
Participants in Clay County Drug Court must have Clay County drug/alcohol related criminal charges and must be on probation supervision. Participants must be 18 or older and reside in Clay County. Participants must not have current or past violent offenses. Participants must agree to the conditions of Drug Court. Most importantly, participants must have a desire to be drug/alcohol free.
Instructions for Referral

Referrals can be made by contacting Kristi Busse at the County Attorney’s Office, the individuals defense attorney, the individuals probation officer, or Kelsey Callens, Drug Court Officer.
