The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title 1 Program offers guidance to help people define and achieve their education and employment goals. Individuals may be eligible for (at no cost to them): Career Planning Services, Training Services, High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSED), Basic Skill Upgrades, On-the-Job Training, Work Experience Program (WEP), and Classroom Training. Services are accessible to those with disabilities and/or deaf and hard of hearing. WIOA services are funded by the US Department of Labor.
Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible if: 1) You have been permanently laid off from your job; 2) You are unemployed or underemployed with additional barriers (income guidelines apply); 3) You are a High School Dropout and want to attain your High School Equivalency Diploma (HiSED) and employment.
